Food was ok. Noodles are overrated. Crab was flavorful. The towels they bring at the end are super hot . Remember you have to find your own parking and the restaurant is in an interesting area. Be careful walking around

First time here, but will be back to try other items on the menu. My niece and shared an order of shrimp toast, and garlic noodles and we each decided on the famous roasted crab. All the food was delicious and the staff friendly and attentive. We saved room for dessert a baked Alaska and an order of fried bananas. Yum!!

During my recent trip to San Francisco, my friends and I dined at the Crustacean Restaurant, experiencing what I consider to be the finest seafood meal of my life. I would give it a six-star rating out of five. The service was exceptional, characterized by prompt attention, friendly smiles, and unobtrusive professionalism. The food was is absolutly incredible and the manager exhibited consummate professionalism.

Visited this location on a Sunday evening. I had reservation but arrived early and was immediately seated.. they do not have parking but they gave me parking info when they called to verify my reservation. My fiancé and I were celebrating a recent engagement and this was an intimate setting. I order one cocktail drink and the roast crab with seafood rice and he ordered the prawns and garlic noodles. We had jumbo prawn wonton for appetizer. Our total bill was around $219 tip included. Gratuity is already factored into the bill. I love this place and plan to revisit whenever I come back

Wow! Best Crab by far! Taste and presentation. Buttery Garlic sauce that paired delightfully with the tender white crab meat. Delicious! Complimented perfectly with 'The Secret Kitchen Garlic Noodles'.. Also had The Soy Ginger Roasted Salmon. Most incredible Wild Salmon Ive ever devoured. Topped this gorgeous meal off with a fried banana ice cream. The salty sweet essence of this meal will have me coming back for more!!!

July 2020: This is a must stop whenever I visit to Sfo ! Lovely roasted crab with butter and herbs. Rich butter flavour and savoury! Especially the garlic butter noodle to go with. It.. it is sinful. The meat is juicy and easily cracked shell! Rather messy buy is enjoyable. Love the mussel too with reach garlic flavour, butter and herbs. Dip the bread into it and savour it ! Yummy.. the fried calamari in Asian style. With salt and pepper plus specially prepared spicy mayonnaise sauce, it is ! Great night with great wine to company too.. shiok.! July 2018: Great restaurant you can find in San Francisco if you like seafood. Serving one of the best Dungeness crab in town and you must try. They can come with their signature roast crab, tamarind and drunken crab. Tasted great and you must complete with their signature garlic noodle for sure .. some appetisers you can try like calamari, mussels , fried prawn wanton and lobster salad.. good selection of wines at reasonable price. However the whole crab is not SH Rao that cost you $55 per crab! Worth it and do make early reservation to avoid Long queue especially the weekend and dinner time!

Best fusion restaurant around SF. Small menu but the dishes are what you go again and again for. The whole roast crab was juicy and flavorful, fried rice was on point. Their garlic noodles is also a famous delicacy. Will go back again.

Food was quite tasty and service was attentive and efficient without being ever-present or overbearing. Cocktail specials were tasty and reasonably priced, and we did not try the crab. Unless you count crab cakes; very tasty and crabby in a panko breading. Greens were well dressed. The garlic noodles kick butt. The short ribs and bok choy were acceptable, but our least favorite dish. They didn’t have the unctuousness one would expect in a short rib; they weren’t exactly dry, but something was missing, and the glaze needed additional reduction. Crabs were too messy since we had an after-dinner event. Area parking isn’t too bad if you get there after the workday and before the night crowd. We had a concert at a nearby venue (the Regency Ballroom for Modern English & Human League), and pulled into a metered street spot at 5:53…that had 7 minutes of time left…and metered parking ends at 6! Woo hoo! The space was directly across the street, and about a 5 minute walk to the Regency Ballroom. Excellent experience overall.
